The mash workshop with the necessary machines for the production of wort.

The small mash workshop consists of only two mash vessels: mash&lauter and kettle&whirlpool.

This two vessel mash unit can produce 1-2 pots per day, usually in small breweries,

and can produce up to 600 pots per year depending on the number of mashing days.

The traditional four vessels mash workshop consists of the following equipment:

Mash tun, with or without heating;

Mash copper,for split boiling;

Lauter tun: for wort filtration;

Kettle tun,for wort boiling.

In order to improve the daily mash, the mash workshop is also equipped with the following containers:

temporary storage tank and swirling sedimentation tank.

The modern mash workshop produces high-quality wort while achieving high mash yields.

For this purpose, it has a range of ancillary equipment, especially for equipment that is as thoroughly washed as possible,

and its mash yield exceeds that traditional mash equipment.

The quality of the mash equipment can be evaluated by the difference

between the mash yield and the leaching rate of the laboratory malt air-dried fine powder.

The mash equipment is better, and the difference is small.

In small or old-fashioned breweries, the lauter tun is located slightly higher and is installed near the wort kettle tun

so that the filtered wort can pass through the wort into the kettle tun using the difference,

but today the mashing vessels is in a flat layout.
