Lauter tun function:

The mashed wort needs to be filtered to obtain a clear wort, and the filtration requires separation of the material eluted from the raw material in the mash in a short period of time with the insoluble wheat grains, and a good yield of the extract is obtained.

The methods used for filtration include a filter tank method, a filter press method, and a rapid bleed method.

After lauter process finished ,In order to get hot flocculate from wort ,whirlpool is a process for separation for hot flocculate and precipitation
